The Upholstery Store

The Upholstery Store, the newly-opened wine bar located at 713 Washington Street, near West 11th Street, serves wines of the world. The 35-bottled wine list was put together by sommelier Leopold Schneemann. It is a playfull collection of eclectic offerings at affordable prices, it is a chance to loosen our ties and be playful with wine.

The food menu, featuring dishes all under $10, like olives, mixed nuts, liver pate, hot sopresatta and a selection of different cheeses, is chalked on the blackboard behind the bar.

This cozy haven is just steps away from Wallse restaurant. The name is taken from the hand-painted green and gold sign that has hung above the space for over 30 years.

The Upholstery Store is open daily from 5pm until 2am. No reservations are taken and no credit cards are accepted (cash/ house account only).
